2012 Heron Junior State Titles

This is the event many of the juniors have been holding out for all year: the Heron Junior State Titles.

The upcoming sailors of NSW’s Heron fleet come together for two weekends of competitive sailing - and a lot of fun.

The juniors have the option of sailing in one of two categories: junior-junior (where both the skipper and crew are under 18) or junior-senior (where the junior skipper takes an adult crew with them).

However, not all of the action is on the water. Held over two weekends, this event also includes an overnight camp on the second weekend, held at Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club.

With adults and kids from all the local clubs ‘sleeping over’ in the one location, it is certainly a highlight for everyone on the social calendar.

The first weekend’s racing will be held at the Dobroyd Aquatic Centre.
