Learn to sail for kids aged 7+ who are confident swimmers. Our qualified coaches will teach your kids how to sail within a matter of weeks. During this course they will learn how to rig the boat, steer and even how to get the boat upright when they capsize. Boats are provided by the club and two rescue boats are on the water at all times. Runs from 9-10.30am on Sundays during the season and boats are provided.

Once a child hase completed at least one season of Learn to Sail, they graduate to Intermediate squad, this is where they will put their new found skills to use and start learning the basics of racing while having fun exploring the lakes. Boats are also provided by the club or they can sail their own. Runs from 10.30-12 on Sunday mornings during the sailing season.

Once they have completed Intermediate squad, they can graduate to Development Squad where they will learn the best tactics for racing will have the opportunity to participate in the junior races which are held after training sessions. They can also compete at State or National Junior Tournaments in different classes of boats.
