Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned sailor, Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club offers a vibrant and welcoming environment to get out on the water, improve your skills, and connect with a passionate sailing community.
From September til April, we sail a variety of classes suited to all ages and skill levels, including:

Herons – Perfect for families and teams, with a strong racing culture at the club.

Lasers – A popular single-handed class offering flexibility across sailor sizes.

Windsurfer OneDesign – Ideal for the lake’s conditions and growing in popularity.

Junior Classes – Including Optimists, Sabots, and Open Skiffs, supporting a clear learning pathway from beginner to racer.
Club RacingClub racing is the heart of our sailing program and takes place every Sunday afternoon during the sailing season (September to April), with monthly twilight races for a relaxed social atmosphere. All levels of sailors are welcome from first-time racers to experienced competitors. |
Beyond the LakeOur sailors don’t stop at Narrabeen. We proudly support each other to compete at state and national level regattas, often travelling as a group and flying the Team Narrabeen flag. From junior championships to senior titles, our club has a strong and supportive presence on the broader sailing scene. |
